Hello!!

Ahh, it's been awhile since I dropped a new review/post here on the blog but it's time to get the ball rolling again! Today, I'm gonna be reviewing the Super Waterproof Mascara from Heroine Make, and if you're wondering what's new about this all time best-selling item (I don't think there's anyone who've dabbled into make up and haven't heard all the good things about their mascara and liquid liners before!!!), it's that they have launched a new shade to the mascara, in brown!
Now that excites me. A lot. As someone who wears brown eyeliner and is all for the soft, natural look, the launch of the new Heroine Make Super Waterproof Brown Mascara will complete the look, as wearing black mascara may often look too bold for a clean, everyday wear (personal preference, of course :P But who would say no to more options and shades to choose from? hehe)

Heroine Make is one of Japanese top cosmetic brands known for their amazing mascaras and eyeliners. If you're new to Heroine Make Super Waterproof Mascaras, it's not too late to know about it now! Their mascaras are known to have a super long lasting formula and is highly resistant to sweat, sebum, water and smudge. They literally do not budge and it doesn't make my lashes feel heavy and droop down at the end of the day too! I've sensitive eyes, so eyelash extensions are out of the question for me, and on days I'd like my eye makeup to be more on point, mascaras that doesn't irritate my eyes are what I'd go for and the Super Waterproof Mascara doesn't disappoint as they also contain 4 kinds of essence to protect sensitive lashes from damage :)

Personally, I've thin and straight lashes, although they aren't particularly short. Hence, I prefer going with the Volume & Curl Brown mascara to add some dimension to my lashes, making it look fuller! The mascaras also contain power curl setting polymer to ensure the curls last all day long ^^


Besides dolling up, our lashes also require lots of tender loving care!!! It is such a delicate area that we tend to overlook, and Heroine Make has also come up with 2 other products to help you with your lash care regime in just 5 minutes!

Not too sure if y'all have heard/seen/used this product before, but this Heroine Make Speedy Mascara Remover (S$14.90) is my personal absolute favorite. For one reason, we all know that the mascaras are so long lasting they literally do not budge xD, and trying to remove the mascara repeatedly and vigorously are super harmful to our delicate eye area! I like using the Speedy Mascara Remover because all I have to do is to apply a coat of the remover on my lashes, and it comes off cleanly when wiped with a piece a cotton pad! The mascara actually "melts" as we apply the formula on the lashes. Before putting the applicator back into the bottle, remember to clean it with a tissue so that the solution will not be contaminated.



Extremely gentle, thorough, and effective!

With Heroine Make being one of Japan's leading cosmetic brands for mascaras and eyeliners, we surely can entrust our beautiful lashes with them~ They now also have a Watering Eyelash Serum (S$18.90), with an applicator that has a really interesting suede texture that's gentle on the lashes! It is recommended to use the Watering Eyelash Serum twice daily for the appearance of healthier, stronger and thicker lashes! The applicator is also specially designed for easy application from the lash roots to the lash ends.

I'm personally still in the midst of trying this out and while I've not used it long enough to see a significant difference in my lashes, they do feel healthier and holds the curls longer!

The Watering Eyelash Serum also contains 10 kinds of serum ingredients such as panthenol, royal jelly extract, ginseng root extract to moisturize lashes. Its oil-free formula makes this suitable even for those of us who has eyelash extensions on! :)

These products are also compact and very travel friendly so I can definitely take this simple 5 minute lash care regime with me everywhere I go! :) It's time we take good care of our lashes (like how we'd do with our hair!) and have beautiful and healthy lashes too~
